Whether you know him as The Loan Arranger, Silver Man, or the infamous CASHMAN, Toronto’s Russell Oliver has been a local television sensation from his first appearance in blue tights back in ’95. Since 1971, Oliver Jewellery has been buying up the GTA’s unwanted gold and jewellery and in return they’re giving up cash, cash, and more cash!
As the cover story in this weeks edition of The Grid, writer Danielle Groen brings an intimate look at the life of The Cashman, in a nice profile piece titled Thirteen ways of looking at Russell Oliver. Accompanying the article are some images from our very own Tyler Gray, who jumped at the opportunity to spend the day with Cashman, who befittingly dawned a gold suit for the occasion. Time for the work? OHHH YEAHHH!
