Matt Barnes has won a PDN Self-Promo Award. The magazine awarded his 7″ vinyl picture disc 1st place in their “Extraordinary Non-Traditional Promotions” category. Matt and Clay Rochemont collaborated on the design.

George Simhoni has been extremely busy for the last three months. He has shot projects in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia. Gabe Nivera (George’s assistant) shot the following photo while in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia:
Chris Gordaneer recently travelled to Vancouver Island to shoot an ad campaign for the 2010 Subaru Outback. Chris worked on the campaign with Paul Wallace at DDB.
Joanne Ratajczak worked as Frank Hoedl’s full-time assistant in 2005. Since going freelance in 2006, Joanne has worked for a number of Westside photographers including Derek Shapton, Tom Feiler and Russell Monk. More recently, Joanne has produced personal projects in Poland and Canada. She will be participating in Montreal’s inaugural Slideluck Potshow tomorrow! Her work will be on display alongside images by Don Weber, Dominic Nahr, Lana Slezic and other top-notch Canadian shooters.
Anja Behrens performed a six-month internship at Westside Studio in 2007/08 to fulfill a school requirement. While at Westside Anja worked alongside our photographers and gained extensive on-set experience. After her internship, Anja returned to Germany to complete her degree in Communication Design & Photography at The University of Applied Sciences – Darmstadt. Her work was recently featured on Jörg Colberg’s Conscietious blog.
